What we do
with your details.
We collect what we need to quote and deliver the work, and nothing beyond it.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb of the site and whatever you write in the message — including any order list you send with it. That’s all. We don’t ask for and don’t want financial details through this website.
Why we collect it
To quote your job, order your stock, arrange delivery or planting, and follow up on the work. Nothing else. Order lists you build in the shop are stored in your own browser on your own device, not on our server, until you choose to send them.
Who sees it
Our own staff, and — only where the job requires it — a nursery supplying your stock or a freight company delivering it. We don’t sell, rent or trade contact details, and we don’t add anyone to a mailing list off the back of an enquiry.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become jobs are kept for two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Records relating to completed work are kept for seven years to meet tax and business record requirements.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses browser storage to remember your order list between visits. If website analytics are running, they record aggregate visit data — pages viewed, device type, rough location — and are not used to identify individuals.
Access and correction
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@perthtreesdirect.com.au or call 08 9561 1334 and we’ll action it within a fortnight.
Security
Enquiries are delivered to our business email and stored in our job records. We take reasonable steps to protect them, though no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
This policy is written to sit within the Australian Privacy Principles. If you think we’ve mishandled your information, raise it with us first — we’d rather fix it than have you go to the OAIC, but that avenue is yours if we don’t.
