Questions we
get most weeks.
Still not covered? Ring 08 9561 1334 — you’ll get someone who has planted the species you’re asking about.
Not at this stage. We are not open for in-person visits because of biosecurity requirements — keeping stock isolated is how pests and disease are prevented from moving between sites. Everything is delivered to you instead, and we are happy to send photos of the actual tree before it is dispatched.
Door to door across the Perth metropolitan area. Freight is quoted per order based on your suburb and the size of the load, and we confirm a delivery window with you before anything leaves.
Tell us what it is. We have long-standing connections through the WA nursery trade and will go and find it for you, usually at a better price than you would get chasing it yourself. It costs nothing to ask.
Every product lists the pot size and the supplied height, plus the mature size so you know both ends of the story. A 20–25L is roughly 1.5–2m, a 45L about 2.5m, and 100L and above from 3.5m.
Yes — Green Stock Installation covers pit excavation, backfill, staking, mulching and water-in. Anyone planting above 45L should take it; the stock gets heavy and awkward quickly.
It is the Australian Standard for tree stock used in landscaping. It sets out how a tree should be proportioned, how the root system should be developed, and what defects disqualify it. Our stock is grown and assessed against it, which is why you will not receive a root-bound tree with a weak leader.
Every onsite consultation includes a soil analysis and a written recommendation for improving it. In most of Perth the answer involves a wetting agent and organic matter, but the detail changes street to street.
More than people expect, provided the soil is treated first. Natives, olives, most citrus and the coastal species all do well. Ring us with your suburb and aspect before you buy — that one conversation saves more trees than anything else we do.
